Garden Design Work

The humble beginnings of a garden install
The fully extended garden bed after the removal of sod and amendment with compost, slow release fertilizer and bone meal
Plants were placed and planted in the garden bed, over the following years these plants will grow into a mosaic of colour in the front, with medium sized shrubs at the rear of the bed acting as the ‘bones’ of this garden
Additional garden beds created in the front yard; we chose plants with striking fall colour, that would also compliment each other year round
A border bed created between the home owner and the neighbouring property, this variety of plants will offer diversity of height and colour as the bed matures
The home owner asked if I could expand the bed we previously designed, removing a large portion of the lawn

The completed design prior to planting
Material was hauled away and disposed of after each garden design session
Garden Clean Ups

There’s nothing more pleasing than a freshly weeded garden bed
These vines and shrubs had run wild after several years without pruning
They Covered the whole house; even growing into the gutters
After the plants were pruned the bed below was tidied of leaf debris and weeded through. The plants are ready for a new lease on life come spring!
The paths at the back of the house were overgrown with moss
Here’s what they looked like after a thorough cleaning.
The Central Courtyard was overgrown, and leaf debris and dirt were making the space feel cluttered and unusable
After another thorough cleaning it feels much more open
